I put the link at the bottom of the post in hopes that you read below first.
BTW...I left the bloopers in this time...see if you can find them.
For the past 4 years I have gotten many questions with regards to failed ignition systems.
When it comes to answering the questions about what "May or May Not have failed"...its still guessing.
Granted I have wayyyy more exp than the typical person working on their boat...that is all I have to rely on when helping. <---sometimes its not enough.

I do not believe in swaping out electronic parts until you find the correct ones...and I want my members to feel the same way.
Sooo, what I figured I would do is show you how I diagnose problems at work with a DVA meter.
This is something that is VERY simple to do...its as easy as hooking up the wires, setting the dial and pulling or spinning the engine over.
I have sold many DVA adapters through the forum. They can be used on ALL models of engines from 300hp down to 2.5hp...and they plug into your existing Voltmeter.
Once you figure out what is wrong with yours, you can help diagnose friends problems as well....yes, if you learn on yours...you should be able to help others.
The DVA adapters sell for $75. They are just an email away.
Look at it this way...$75 now...or $600 in electronic parts...of which $400 you did not need to spend.
Save yourselves money and friends money in the process...pick up a DVA adapter today.
Remember, the fish are still biting while you are at home working on your engine.
